Dua Lipa is an English singer and songwriter who was born on the 22nd of August 1995, in London United Kingdom. She decided to sign to Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. She released her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album climbed to the top spot at No. 3 on the U.K. Charts. There were eight singles released including Be the One I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules. In the United States it peaked as number 6. Lipa has been awarded Brit Awards in 2018 in category of British Female Artist, British Breakthrough Act and British. Furthermore, the platinum-certified album is a coveted honor across multiple countries. Future Nostalgia Lipa will release her next studio album in 2020. It's time to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dua Lipa right here. Dua Lipa was conceived at the age of 18 in London with Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). As a result of her maternal grandparents, Dua Lipa is Bosnian. Additionally, her ancestors are from the Kosovo town of Peja. Lipa's grandparents were both historians. She has two siblings, Rina Gjin and Gjin. Lipa was influenced musically by her father, who was the guitarist and singer in the Kosovan rock group Oda. At home her father continued to perform music, including original compositions as well as songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa began singing around the age of five. When she was in her 9th year, she started singing at Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa performed If I Ain't gone You with Alicia Keys, and Beautiful Christina Aguilera. Lipa was approached for an recording deal by Warner Bros. Records in 2014. In August 2015 her first single New Love came out.
